Thank you cards

Yep it's a fact I am not at work on this tuesday!!!!! I can do what I like today (it still feel weird to say that I am in between jobs) I have a lot of time to read all of your blogs and enjoy you with my own post. Think I will be posting a lot the few weeks so stay tuned.

Last night I made this card to say " thank you" to my dear colleague from work. She arranged my goodbye party and thought it would be nice to send a lil card.

 

Rik is at work right now so Pepper and I enjoy this sunny day with the sand box, cleaning the garden and (hope) as she is a sleep a lil painting. What are your plans for today?

Birthday sweetness and a perfect day at the beach

Yesterday was great. It was one of those day's that everything in life is good. We went to the beach and had a perfect afternoon. The weather was good, Puck was enjoying the sand and was amazed for all that waves that she saw. So great to see her enjoying lil things in life and we did a lil walking, relaxing and reading.

I promised you to show you the cards I made for Puck her Birthday. This is the final result. I got a lot of reactions from friends and family. It was a lot of work but worth it.

 

Also bought candy for the other children who come to visit. And of-course with a lil thank you card.

 

Tomorrow I'm gonna bring a visit to my maybe new work space. After that I decide if I accept their offer.

I am looking forward to stop with my old job and start something new. My last day will be at 11 May so three weeks from now (can't wait)

Invitations!

 

Hi there, how was your weekend? Mine was good. We had a lil sunday bike trip with Puck and enjoy the great weather in Holland. Also worked on invitations for her birthday party. It was a long time ago that I worked with fabric but I am glad I did. I think we can speak at mission completed. They worked out great. They are really girly and I love all the bright colors.
 

I hope I can finish them tonight. Only thing left is print her picture and put them in envelops. If they ready for sending I show you the final result.

And yes I am still practicing on the perfect cake. I made this one for my mom and think I am doing better. At the end of the month I will follow a workshop to design cake's so hope to learn a lot.
 

Back to work right now.

Preparing V day

Hello there, are you enjoying your sunday?

We just had breakfast and planned a relaxing day with the three of us. Tonight we gonna have diner with Rik's parents so that is how a sunday must be I guess. Family time and nothing planned.

Shopping was great last friday. Bought a jump suit and some clothes for Puck (it's unbelievable how such a lil girl can grow in one month!) What is the last thing you bought?

I start working on some valentines presents. What do you think about my door-hangers?

 

 And homemade cards.

 

Shhhhhtttt I made Rik a valentines-hanger for his car mirror. These are the first shoes from Puck so a nice memory I think. 

And did your hear about the new Apple gadget?

I don't know if I want this but i like the idea that you can blog everywhere around. 

What is your opinion about the IPad?

Cards

Things are getting organised here in the studio. 

I didn't know I had so much stuff for the MIKASTORE already.

This cards are my first designs but they stay forever in my collection. Use them for all kinds of celebration or just to say simple BOO.... to someone. 

Can't wait to put all kind off stuff in the store and show you.

Ok now something to laugh.....NOT, after the mac incident I washed my I pod this time.....yes with the dirty laundry (when does the hurting stop?) It was in my jacket that I use for my running sessions and I didn't get it out when I trow it in the machine. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I heard a weird noise and saw it spinning in the machine. I guess I have to buy a new one!!!!

Here we go again

Ok I started today with fresh energy. Had a little "dip" the last few day's after my Mac incident.

Sun is shinning, my house is clean and no stress around here. So lets try the mac after three days of waiting...................................!!!!!!!!! Press the button and......................

Nothing at all, not even a small piece off noise, a little wipe on the screen NOTHING.

I think it is really broke and the worst thing is that the birth card is on it and all my pictures from the last two years. Rik spend 4 day's of drawing in photoshop to make the most amazing birth card......and now nothing left. No back up nothing (yes I know stupid, stupid, stupid)

So for the ones who are as stupid as we are, go to the shop and buy a hard disc to save all your importent stuff.

Ok back to funny creative stuff. 

Made these card for my mom's Birthday.

Happy B mom.

Also finished my fabric cover for 9 months off pregnancy.

And after that I thought it will be nice to make cards for everybody who comes to visit our lil girl. They can wright a wish to her for later.

I hate (chr.stma.) cards

Every year it's the same (it's almost a tradition) I forget to buy cards. The day's before christmas I think most of the time... I don't have cards to send and before I know I found some cards in the mailbox and it's to late to send them back. So... this year I'm on time to send a few handmade cards... So everybody watch out there will be a C card from us....and yes we like it a lot if you send some cards back. No news today, so see you soon.

P.s I have concerts tickets for the Stereophonics (AAAAACCCCHHHHH!!!!!)
