Doll house

What do you think about this?

 

I found my own doll house back at my parents!!!!

My grandpa made this one for my mom years ago. My mom kept this at the attic after I was ready playing with this. I had so much fun with this house and think it is a nice idea to give it a re-styling, so Puck can play with it. It look terrible right now. The doors are not working, the paint is in bad condition and all the furniture is lost! Think it is gonna take a while before she can play with this but still a nice project for a quit sunday. 

 

My favorite place at the house is the lil garden, thinking about a lil couch in it and maybe some plants.

Blossom

When I walked the dog last night all I see was blossom. Every tree in our area was pink such a beautiful view. It made me feel like climbing in the tree and watch the sun set. Just silence and relaxing in front of all that beautiful flowers

What is your favorite view?

 



 

In just a few hours we have a lil make over in our bedroom. We ordered a new bed and I hope to find time to decorate some stuff to make it feel like spring inside. Mabey I go gather some blossom.

Hi there, 

Saw this on several blogs so I've decided to join this pretty in pink cuteness.

This month is the National breast cancer month and every year it gives me such a sad feeling when I think of all the woman who struggle with this disease. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago and survived this but it's in the family and it is alway's around in my life. 

A few weeks ago there was such bad news from my good friend PJ . She  is diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm feeling so sad for her.This one is for you PJ. 

I'm thinking of you and hope this will cheer you up a lil girl (still your favourite colour?)

Ok guy's I know it is such a long time that I did a new post. Not complaining but there is not much time left in my weeks. I missed my blog a lot and hope to catch up with you all this weekend. More about my private life on MIKASTORY. Hope to see you there.

My last post was about the different work spaces but unfortunately no one send me any picture about there studio. So decide to show you my space in the next one. It is the whole setting of this movie that feels inspiring. The colours, costums, the story of that lil girl and Tim Burton ofcourse is the best.

The movie isn't finished at all. The premiere will be in 2010 so we have to wait for that. But this looks already cool. Can't wait!

When I saw this persons I felt inspiration to made a few paintings that looked liked the background. I'll show them later. It is the colour that catch you in the pictures.

This persons are so much eye candy for me. Can't stop looking at them.

What movie inspiring you at this moment?

Summer time

I forgot that summer time is started last weekend (time flies), so everybody.......Happy summer time.

Did you have plans for the holiday's this year?

We stay at home this year and hope to enjoy good weather in our backyard.

Told you about the projects I'm working on. This is one I finished last night.

Use last weeks lots of space in my studio with this kind of projects. And for the one with good eyes......yep again tickets for a great concert. Where gonna see Placebo in december (never saw them live before so it's gonna be cool I think)

Are you curious about my big news already? (it feels like a big and serious step for me)

Just as I told you, back soon this time.

 

Finished some nice stuff that I want to show. 

First of all a new key hanger. I made a couple so hope that my friends will "wear" my creation.

And the Lo that I made with my Matroesjka stickers.

Love to work with the materials that I have on my desk. This time paint, a magazine and some tape. Simple but nice I think.

Made this one for my studio. Pictures, lil drawings and some stuff for the inspiration.

Did I told you that we have tickets for the Kings of Leon concert 2 july? (So in love with that band, so it's gonna be a great night)

Started last night (didn't sleep that much) again reading in Kurt Cobains diary. Buy this a long time ago immediately after his death, and again very inspiring reading his mind lyrics and view on the world. If you never read it......give it a go.

What's your current obsession?

I love glasses, diary books, vintage purses and different colour paint.

What's for diner?

Sushi is on the way.

What's the last thing you bought?

The last thing I bought is my I phone and some creative supplies. And of course grocery and a birthday present for a friend.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?

I would choose Nepal. I'v been there in 2007 for a whole month and the view is so beautifull over there. We walked the Annapurna circuit for 10 day's and never saw higher mountains. Just wanna go back there.

What's your favorite piece of clothing in your own warobe?

My favorite piece are this dirty shoes. Throw them away last year after the Werchter festival and still feeling sad about that.

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to run my own bussiness. A shop with clothing, living supplies and creative stuff. Also dream about my own magazine. Still dreaming..........

What are you listening to right now?

Do you admire anyones style?

I admire the style of Agyness Dyen, love the way she mixed everything up.

What's your fav movie?

I'm so into costum drama right now!!!!

Do you collect something?

I try to collect vintage design bags. Look for them on flea markets and buy them only if they have a good price. You can find a lot on the internet but  there is nothing better to find them under a lot of garbage on the market.

What's your go to nail polisch colour?

Black and of course all time favorite red.

Lullaby supermarket

Morning guy's........I know still no baby delivery  over here!!!!! (keep you updated)

Because I have so much time left right now I was looking in our bookshelves to search what to read this time, when I find this. My book about the Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara (sometimes I forgot what is inn our booshelves, to manny I quess) Last year there was a lil exposition in the G.E.M museum where we bought this book and it gives me the right feeling also this time when I look into this book. I like his use off colour so much and also his use of materials is sometimes so weird but briljant in his work.

And for the ones who asked me where do I get my inspiration........ this is one girls!

Wanna say hi..........hi!

Wanna say hi to you at this friday night. So this will be a short one.

Find this  in my room when I was cleaning and organise my stuff.

 

Think that painting is awesome. I Alway's get inspiration by the colours of the English flag. At one side the flag is totally Rock & Roll and at the other side it is a lil bit classy. Like the rock & roll side.

Made this one a long time ago and I realised that I miss my spray cans. Since I' am pregnant working with spray cans is not a good idea so can't wait to start again.
